You ever get that nagging feeling at the back of your mind that you've missed something important? Huh. Well, it was probably nothing. I mean, after all, what could be more important than Microsoft shipping Windows Phone 7? Or Steve Jobs's approval of Intel's latest acquisition? I'll tell you what: Don Draper on his iPhone. Intel consults Steve Jobs over next acquisition (Channel News)

Intel CEO Paul Otellini, dishing on the company's recent acquisition of chip maker Infineon's wireless unit, says he had to consult with the big guy upstairs before making the deal. By which I mean Steve Jobs--what other big guy would I be talking about? Fortunately, Jobs gave him the thumbs up. If you're wondering exactly how long Jobs has been calling the shots behind the scenes at Intel, just let me remind you that he made Otellini show up at Macworld Expo wearing a bunny suit.
